Upstairs, the formal red-lit dining room offers the area's best seafood, such as Jewels of the Sea (a combination of mussels in shell, 1/2 Maine lobster, diver scallops, shrimp and fish), in an elegant dining room; the downstairs dining room serves high-quality casual fare, such as conch salad, conch fritters, raw oysters, steamed clams, fried alligator and sandwiches. You can't miss the sprawling complex from the water though; the boatless might even want to consider taking the Water Taxi. Bring your children or the child that resides within your heart to 15th St between 5 and 6 p.m. to feed the tarpon, huge native fish that swim in Lauderdale waters. The waters are lit up from underneath, so you won't miss a thing.

There's something for everyone on the menu, but I would personally recommend starting with the Peel and Eat Shrimp and the Caribbean Conch Salad.
