Bonnet House

Bonnet House
Bonnet House is a little slice of nature right outside of downtown Fort Lauderdale. This historic house with surrounding gardens features five distinct ecosystems, complete with flora and fauna. These include the desert garden, home to lizards and palm trees, the mangrove wetland, complete with fish and egrets, and the freshwater slough, where you'll find a pair of pure white swans. Can you find the Costa Rican squirrel monkeys? Click here to see InTown's Listing!

guided tour of the historic house and grounds by electric cart, and a walking tour for those who want to strike out on their own. A wonderful place for bird watchers, photographers, naturists, and painters, they even offer art classes and have a society for members who are inspired by the property. Click here to view InTown's Gallery!
